FruitFirm® 1000
The FruitFirm® 1000 is an industrial-grade tool that reads the size and firmness of fruit in real-time at a rate of up to 40 units per minute. First launched in the spring of 2017, the FruitFirm® 1000 from CVM has seen rapid growth to become the industry’s premier fruit firmness testing equipment. Originally designed to test the firmness and size of cherries and blueberries, the FruitFirm® can be altered to read other fruits or vegetables upon request. With the aid of FruitFirm®, packaging facilities can immediately determine the quality and fair market value per ton of delivered produce the moment it arrives. Measuring both firmness and size at specific points of the production cycle helps inform producers and distributors of the ripeness, maturity, and overall quality of the produce.
